Overview
Mission statement
The mission of the Department of Physician Assistant Studies is to educate patient-centered medical providers of the highest quality who are critical thinkers, and lifelong learners.
Program features
Focus on underserved populations and service to both local and international communities in need. Individual support from faculty.
Clinical rotations
The program includes 11 supervised clinical practice experiences, each 5 weeks long, covering Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Behavioral Medicine, Orthopedic Medicine, and two elective rotations, for a total of about 85 weeks of clinical training.
